Recipes/Hemp Powder Biscuits
This recipe is based on one titled "Coconut Biscuits", found in an old cookbook. Makes 10.
Ingredients
- 60g unsalted pure butter
- 1 egg
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup wheat flour
- 1⁄2 cup hemp seed powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add egg and beat.
- Mix together the baking powder, wheat flour and the hemp powder, and sieve into the bowl.
- Mix well.
- Form into evenly sized balls, and press them with a fork.
- Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for approximately 20 minutes.
- Leave to cool for a while before serving.
